AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF
MASTER STREET PLAN CONSTRUCTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR KANIS ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
five year deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for St. Andrew's
Church at 8300 Kanis Road.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five years, or construction of phase 2, or until adjacent development
whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for improving Kanis Road to
minor arterial standards including realignment, widening, curb, gutter, sidewalk
and access ramps.
Subsection b. A dedication of right -of -way 45 feet from centerline; installation
of sidewalk, access ramps, curb, gutter, and widening of approximately 250 feet
near the proposed driveway will be required for Kanis Road prior to issuance of
certificate of occupancy.
Subsection c. This ordinance supersedes Ordinance number 19,948 adopted by
the Board on March 7, 2006.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
