RESOLUTION NO. 12,371
A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 21, 2006, AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE ALLEY
RIGHT -OF -WAY, LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 202, ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK (BLOCK BOUNDED BY WEST 16th , WEST
17th, BROADWAY AND SPRING STREETS), IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
Board of Directors vacate and abandon the North /South 20 -foot wide alley right -of -way
(20 feet by 300 feet) located within Block 202, Original City of Little Rock (block
bounded by W. 1611, W. 17th, Broadway and Spring Streets), pursuant to its general
police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
18 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 21s' day of November, 2006.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
23 in the City of Little Rock.
