3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A TOWING SERVICE CONTRACT WITH EACH COMPANY THAT
5 RESPONDED SUCCESSFULLY TO THE CITY'S REQUEST FOR QUALI-
6 FICATIONS;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the City has elected to use a rotation basis for the Contract Wrecker Service; and,
9 WHEREAS,after a competitive selective process, six(6)companies have been deemed to be respon-
10 sible and responsive bidders.
11 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
12 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into Towing Service Contracts with:
14 A. Adams Towing,Inc.;
15 B. Asher Wrecker Service,Inc.;
16 C. East End Towing,Inc.;
17 D. Towco Investments,LLC(d/b/a JHook Towing and Recovery);
18 E. Metro Towing&Recovery,LLC;and
19 F. Pinnacle Towing&Recovery,Inc.(d/b/a Routh Wrecker Service).
20 Section 2. The term of these towing service contracts shall be from 12:01
21 AM, October 1,2024,through September 30, 2025.If the City and all contract wrecker companies agree,
22 the term may be renewed two(2)times in one(1)year increments by a fully—executed addendum to each
23 Towing Service Contract no less than ninety(90)calendar days prior to the expiration of the then-current
24 term.
25 Section 3.The terms and conditions of these towing service contracts shall be consistent with the RFQ
26 specifications,and the agreements shall be in a form acceptable to the City Attorney in order to ensure that
27 the City's interests are met.
28 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
30 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and effect
31 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
32 lution.

1 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
