3 A RESOLUTION TO CREATE THE DISTRICT AT BRECKENRIDGE
4 TEMPORARY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT, STARTING ON
5 OCTOBER 16, 2024, AND ENDING ON DECEMBER 31, 2024; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, on July 23, 2019, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed
9 Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21,761, as amended, which permitted the creation of a Temporary
10 Entertainment District pursuant to Arkansas State Law and City Ordinance; and,
11 WHEREAS,the City Board of Directors has determined the creation of a Temporary Entertainment
12 District as proposed by Ordinance No.21,761 as amended is appropriate as recommended by the Planning
13 &Development Department.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
16 Section 1.The District at Breckenridge Temporary Entertainment District is hereby created by the City
17 of Little Rock as a Temporary Entertainment District on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, and subject to
18 Ordinance No.21,761 as amended and its defined terms.
19 Section 2. Boundaries. The District at Breckenridge Temporary Entertainment District boundaries
20 will contain the entire Breckenridge Village property located at the southwest corner of Breckenridge Drive
21 and North Rodney Parham Road.
22 Section 3. Timeframe. The District at Breckenridge Temporary Entertainment District shall be
23 designated as a Temporary Entertainment District upon the adoption of this resolution and shall expire after
24 December 31, 2024. The hours of operation for the District at Breckenridge Temporary Entertainment
25 District are from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM, seven (7) days a week as adopted by this resolution. The City
26 reserves the right to amend boundaries and hours of operation at its sole discretion.
27 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 5. Repealer.All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
