HomeMy WebLinkAbout16474 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,474 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 4, 2024, AS THE DATE FOR A 4 PUBLIC HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK 5 MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6 2024-002 (TETON VALLEY); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value 9 of the relevant property to form and lay off a Municipal Property Owners Improvement District (Teton 10 Valley); and, 11 WHEREAS, before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little 12 Rock Board of Directors; 13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 15 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on Monday,November 4,2024,at 6:00 p.m.,or at such time 16 after the start of the meeting as this matter may arise on the agenda,on the question of whether to form and 17 lay off Little Rock Municipal Property Owners Improvement District No.2024-002(Teton Valley)and the 18 property more completely described as follows: 19 TRACTS 1 AND 2, SIMPSON'S SUBDIVISION OF THE NE1/4 OF NW1/4 OF SECTION 8, 20 TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND BEING 21 SHOWN ON PLAT RECORDED IN BOOK 4, PAGE 8, RECORDS OF PULASKI COUNTY, 22 ARKANSAS. 23 Section 2. Notice of the date and time of this public hearing shall be published in accordance with 24 State law. 25 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed improvement district may 26 view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 2"d Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock, 27 Arkansas; or, to contact counsel for the proposed district: Nicole Gore, Rose Law Firm Little Rock, 28 Arkansas 72201, (501)377-0370. 29 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 33 resolution. 34 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 35 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
