3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 4, 2024, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK
5 MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.
6 2024-001 (THE OAK GROVE AT OLD OAK SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT
7 DISTRICT NO. 2024-001 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS); AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value
11 of the relevant property to form and lay off an Municipal Property Owners Improvement District (The
12 Grove at Old Oak Special Improvement District 2024-001 of Little Rock,Arkansas);and,
13 WHEREAS, before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
14 Rock Board of Directors;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on Monday,November 4,2024,at 6:00 p.m.,or at such time
18 after the start of the meeting as this matter may arise on the agenda,on the question of whether to form and
19 lay off Little Rock Municipal Property Owners Improvement District No.2024-001 (The Grove at Old Oak
20 Special Improvement District 2024-001 of Little Rock, Arkansas) and the property more completely
21 described as follows:
22 A PART OF THE E1/2 E1/2 NE1/4 NE1/4 OF SECTION 19, T-2-N,R-13-W,
23 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS DESCRIBED AS
24 FOLLOWS:
25 COMMENCING AT A POINT LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
26 SAID NE1/4 NE1/4, SECTION 19; SAID POINT BEING THE POINT OF
27 BEGINNING; THENCE N88° 51'20" W ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF 1'HE
28 NE1/4 NE1/4, SECTION 19, A DISTANCE OF 330.06'; THENCE
29 N01°50'42"E-548.46'; THENCE S59°50'44"E-211.92'; THENCE S58°00'05"E-
30 165.70' TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF THE NE1/4 NE1/4, SECTION
31 19; 'THENCE S O 1'48'54" W ALONG SAID EAST LINE A DISTANCE OF
32 360.69',BACK TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 3.456 ACRES,
33 MORE OR LESS.

1 Section 2. Notice of the date and time of this public hearing shall be published in accordance with
2 State law.
3 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed improvement district may
4 view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 2' Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
5 Arkansas;or,to contact counsel for the proposed district:Hollis Redden,Gill Ragon Owen,P.A.,425 West

7 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
8 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
9 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
10 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
11 resolution.
12 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
13 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
