3 A RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF
4 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COST
5 SHARING CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF PUBLIC
6 RIGHT-OF-WAY INFRASTRUCTURE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Central Construction Group has been construction sidewalk improvements for the
9 Southwest corner of Capitol and Main Street;and,
10 WHEREAS,The improvement project provides public right-of-way infrastructure;and,
11 WHEREAS, it is desirable for the City of Little Rock (City) to participate in the cost sharing for
12 improvements.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City will participate in the cost-sharing in an amount not to exceed Two-Hundred Fifty
16 Thousand Dollars($250,000.00).
17 Section 2. The City Manager, or their designee, is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
18 payments necessary to expedite the construction of this project.
19 Section 3. Funding for the City share of this project is from a portion of the special activity set aside
20 for Infrastructure as Economic Development,Accounting Unit 108409 Activity No. S40G673.
21 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
