HomeMy WebLinkAbout16466 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,466 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH PROMAS, LLC, TO PROVIDE NETWORK 5 SECURITY SUPPORT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO 6 HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED FOUR AND 7 10/100 DOLLARS ($271,104.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES; 8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, the City needs to renew Check Point firewall support and security subscriptions to 11 support the security of the City's network locations and add security protection to email and collaboration 12 applications; and, 13 WHEREAS,the service is to be procured through the cooperative purchasing agreement TIPS-TAPS 14 Contract, Contract No.230105;and 15 WHEREAS, the cost for the contract with Promas, LLC, will be in an amount not to exceed Two 16 Hundred Seventy-One Thousand, One Hundred Four and 10/100 Dollars ($271,104.00), plus applicable 17 taxes and fees. 18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with ProMAS,LLC,to purchase a 21 twelve (12) month subscription for the Check Point firewall support and security subscriptions in an 22 amount not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy-One Thousand, One Hundred Four and 10/100 Dollars 23 ($271,104.00),plus applicable taxes and. 24 Section 2. Funds are available in the Information Technology Networking Account 103030-61350. 25 Section 3. The purchase shall be made using the TIPS-TAPS Contract Cooperative Purchasing 26 Program,Contract No. 230105. 27 Section 4. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be 28 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this 29 Resolution,which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or 30 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution. 31 Section 5. Repealer.
