This Bill of Assurance made by William E. Woodruff$ senior, owner
and proprietor of:
The North part of the SWJ of ST* Section 2, Township 1
North, Range 12 West, and containing 24.64 acres, situate
adjoining the City of Little Rook, Arkansas.
That the said Wooi ruff has caused the above tract of land to be
surveyed, and laid off into Block@ and fractional Blocks, and Lots and
fractional Lots, Streets, Alleys, Ao, for the purpose of extending said
original town or City of Little Rook, and has caused to be made the
annexed and foregoing Plat of said Survey, showing the bounds and areas
of said Bleaks and fractional. Blocks, and Lots and fractional lots and
Streets, alleys, &o, And said Lands embraoed in said survey, shall be
forever known and designated as WOODRUFFS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK. The foregoing Addition is bounded on the North by Reotortown, on
the East by an Alley, separating it from Hanger's Addition, an the South
by Hazel (or Ninth) Street, separating it from Masonio Addition, and on
the West, by Johnsonis and Stevenson's Additions. All the :streets and
Alleys of said Addition as represented on the annexed and foregoing Plat
of Survey, shall be and forever remain open and public highways, common
to m11, an undividabl.e property that shall never be barred or shut up.
No Alley shall be closed except by the unanimous consent in writing
of all persons owning Lots or parts of Lots bordering on such alley.
As the South half of $look NO- L the South half of fractional Block S,
fractional. Block q, and Shook No. 30, are enclosed and embrace the per-
sonal residenoe and homestead of the undersigned proprietor, it Is here-
by declared that the streets and alleys running through, and dividing said
Blocks and property, shall not be thrown open, or made public thorough--
