The owner of all abutting properties within the block
requests to abandon the 20 foot wide (east/west) platted
alley right-of-way (20 feet by 164 feet) located within
Block 8, Woodruff's Addition (block bounded by E. 7',
E. 8th, College and McLean Streets). The abandonment is
requested in order to incorporate the area into the Artspace
PCD development. The abandonment was approved as part
of the Artspace PCD project by the Planning Commission
on January 12, 2023 and the Board of Directors on
February 21, 2023 (Ord. # 22,223).

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 2, 2024 AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE 20 FOOT
WIDE PLATTED ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY (20 FEET BY 164
FEET) LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 8, WOODRUFF'S
ADDITION IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
(G-23-490); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board
of Directors abandon the 20 foot wide platted alley right-of-way (20 feet by 164 feet) located
within Block 8, Woodruff s Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above -mentioned right-of-way
shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in City Hall, 2nd
Floor Board Room, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at six o'clock on
October 2, 2024.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
