Home My WebLink About16431 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,431 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CURTIS CONSTRUCTION, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, FOUR 6 HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($55,440.00), FOR THE IRISH ROSE 7 DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES 8 9 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for the Irish Rose Drainage Improvement Project,Bid No.2605;and, 10 WHEREAS, Curtis Constrution, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting 11 specifications of the three(3)bids received for the project;and, 12 WHEREAS,the total cost of the project shall not exceed Fifty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Forty 13 Dollars($55,440.00),which includes a 20%contingency. 14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Curtis 17 Construction, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Forty Dollars 18 ($55,440.00),which includes a 20%contingency,for the Irish Rose Drainage Improvement Project. 19 Section 2. Funding for this project is allocated in the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital 20. Improvement Bonds as authorized by Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 15,9668 (May 2, 2023),Account 21 No.B7D071D. 22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and 25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 26 resolution. 27 Section 4. Repealer.
