Home My WebLink About16433 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,433 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH BURKHALTER TECHNOLOGIES, INC., IN 5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND, 6 SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS ($240,732.00), FOR THE R 7 STREET AND FILLMORE STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT 8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for the R Street and Fillmore Street Drainage Improvement Project, 11 Bid No.2607; and, 12 WHEREAS,Burkhalter Technologies,Inc.,submitted the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting 13 specifications of one(1)bid received for the project;and, 14 WHEREAS, the total cost of the project shall not exceed Two Hundred Forty Thousand, Seven 15 Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars($240,732.00),which includes a 20%contingency. 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with 19 Burkhalter Technologies,Inc., in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Forty Thousand, Seven Hundred 20 Thirty-Two Dollars($240,732.00),which includes a 20%contingency,for the R Street and Fillmore Street 21 Drainage Improvement Project. 22 Section 2. Funding for this project is allocated in the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital 23 Improvement Bonds as authorized by Little Rock,Ark., Resolution No. 15,9668 (May 2, 2023),Account 24 No.B3D028D. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
