RE: Extension First Baptist Church PRD (Z-4562)
Dear Bernadette:
We would like to request on behalf of First Baptist Church a one
year extension for the First Baptist Church PRD approval Z-4562.
This extension would be the second for this project, the first
expires November 26, 1987. We would also request cl4rification
on two points concerning PRD timing, the first being,►ghat clas-
sifies as "work eginnng Yoj'ect" . First Baptist Church
as expended to date approximately $175,000 for construction of
street improvements, water line extensions, and sewer extensions
across their property which were required as part of the PRD ap-
proval. It is our interpretation that this work constitutes the
beginning construction on the project. Although there have been
no buildings constructed or under construction at the present
time. If in fact this does represent construction starting on
the project, dp�we need to continue to request extensions on the
PRD approval.a Secondly, if the work done to date does not con-
stitute construction starting on the project, then what steps
will First Baptist Church need to take to insure at the end of
the second extension, which would be approximately November 26,
1988, that the PRD is not voided. It now appears that construc-
tion on the actual buildings will not take place for ap-
proximately two to three years. Although prior to that time,
the Church may move forward with construction of parking lots or
channel improvements to Taylor Loop Creek.
