3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH POSITIVE RESULTS LAWN SERVICES,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY THOUSAND,
6 THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN AND 68/100 DOLLARS ($70,357.68),
7 FOR THE BISHOP STREET SIDEWALKS PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for the Bishop Street Sidewalks Project,Bid No.2575;and,
11 WHEREAS, Positive Results Lawn Services, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid
12 meeting specifications of the five(5)bids received for the project;and,
13 WHEREAS, the total cost of the project shall not exceed Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty-
14 Seven and 68/100 Dollars($70,357.68),which includes a 20%contingency.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Positive
18 Results Lawn Services, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty-Seven
19 . and 68/100 Dollars ($70,357.68), which includes a 20% contingency, for the Bishop Street Sidewalks
20 Project.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is allocated in the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital
22 Improvement Bonds as authorized by Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 15,9668(May 2, 2023),Account
23 No.B1D008S.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
