DB/A SWCA ENVIRONMEN- 5 TAL CONSULTANTS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHTY 6 THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE AND 48/100 DOLLARS 7 ($80,125.48), TO RESURVEY A PORTION OF THE HILLCREST NA- 8 TIONAL REGISTER HISTORIC DISTRICT; AND FOR OTHER PUR- 9 POSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,earlier this year,the City of Little Rock("City")was awarded a Certified Local Govern- 12 ment grant from the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program ("AHPP")to resurvey a portion of the Hill- 13 crest National Register Historic District;and 14 WHEREAS,the Hillcrest National Register District was last surveyed in 1990 and amended in 1992; 15 and, 16 WHEREAS, it is recommended and good practice to resurvey National Register Historic Districts 17 every five(5)years;and, 18 WHEREAS, Request for Qualifications,Event No.2475,was issued to obtain competitive bids from 19 qualified entities which could perform cultural resource services for Phase IV of the resurvey; 20 WHEREAS, after a competitive bidding process with one (1) bid received, it was determined that 21 SWCA,Inc.,d/b/a SWCA Environmental Consultants was the highest scoring qualified bidder; and 22 WHEREAS,the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program grant monies will provide up to Eighty Thou- 23 sand One Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars($80,150.00)in grant funds for this project. 24 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 25 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 26 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with SWCA,Inc.,d/b/a SWCA 27 Environmental Consultants to resurvey a portion of the Hillcrest National Register Historic District in an 28 amount not to exceed Eighty Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Five and 48/100 Dollars($80,125.48). 29 Section 2. Funds in the amount of Eighty Thousand One Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars 30 ($80,150.00) are available through a grant awarded to the City of Little Rock by the Arkansas Historic 31 Preservation Program. 32 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 33 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju- 34 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect [Page 1 of 2] 1 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso- 2 lution. 3 Section 4. Repealer.
