REQUEST:
This applicant requests a review by the Planning Commis-sion
of a Bill of Assurance amendment drafted by several owners
and involving the use of their lots. The proposal includes
the amendment of the Bill of Assurance to permit a mobile
home on one lot within the plat. There are a number of
owners involved in the plat and each has represented their
approval by signature of the proposed instrument.
A. PROPOSAL/REQUEST:
This applicant proposes to locate a mobile home on a
lot adjacent to his current residence and business.
This property would be occupied by a member of his
family and the mobile home would be placed on the lot
as a temporary residence until they are financially
able to construct a residence.
B. EXISTING CONDITIONS:
One vacant residential lot.
C. ENGINEERING COMMENTS:
No comments offered.

D. ISSUES/LEGAL/TECHNICAL/DESIGN:
The only issue of concern here is the Bill of
Assurance. A proposed amended Bill of Assurance has
been offered for Staff review. In our reading of the
instrument, we find no problems presented by the
language that is proposed.
E. ANALYSIS:
The staff review of this request reveals that the
proposed Bill of Assurance amendment has been signed by
the appropriate parties in order to assure that there
will not be a problem with their recordation of this
instrument. There are no other issues attendant to
this proposal.
F. STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Staff recommends approval of the amended Bill
of Assurance as drafted.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: (August 8, 1989)
The applicant was not present. The Commission voted 7 ayes,
0 noes, 4 absent to approve the Bill of Assurance amendment
as recommended by the Staff.
