To Whom it May Concern:
On behalf of our client, Our House, Inc., we propose a revision to Phase Three of the approved Our House
Short Form PD-0, File Number Z-5239-I.
Due to an increased need for transitional housing for homeless individuals and families and the need for
supportive resources, we propose demolition of the existing 2,444 square foot two-story brick veneer
administration/housing structure located at the southwest portion of the campus. In this same area we
propose a new 7,200 square foot one-story Family House building and a new 4,800 square foot
Operations Center. The new Family House will contain eleven family units, one of these units will be ADA
accessible, a common kitchen/dining/living area for the residents, two offices, a laundry room and a
storage area.
The proposed two-story Operations Center will contain a security office, administration offices, meeting
spaces, restrooms and a staff break room.
We propose an outdoor walkway/plaza between the proposed Family House and the proposed Operations
Center which will allow outdoor circulation, a place for egress from the Family House and proposed
landscape/hardscape areas. An accessible ramp and stairs will be provided to access this area from the
south. There will be a covered drop off area at the north of the Operations Center to provide for an area to
drop off donations which will be temporarily stored in the proposed storage room of the Family House.
In order to allow for the demolition and construction of these new buildings, the existing temporary
portable office unit will be relocated to the east of the existing Career Center. Three existing portable
storage units will also be relocated to the east of the existing Career Center.
We propose one new ADA accessible parking space for the new Family House and it will be located to the
west of the new Family House. The existing parking lot along Roosevelt Road has approximately 112 spaces
and due to limited space on campus, we propose the existing parking along Roosevelt Road to be utilized.
Access to the Our House campus from Old Spanish Trail Road will remain as is with the guard structure to
the south of the proposed Operations Center. New campus signage will be located north of the existing
access drive and is still in a conceptual state.

Other items to be included in the revision to the approved short form PD-0 are the following:
Our House, Inc. proposes a new covered bus stop that is approximately 100 square feet and will be
located to the south of the main campus entry.
• A new exterior covered porch that is approximately 700 square feet will be an addition to the
existing shelter building.
In order to provide a pathway out of homelessness for families and individuals in our community, these
improvements to the existing campus are important to the mission of Our House.
