3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH BURKHALTER TECHNOLOGIES, INC., IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-ONE THOUSAND, FOUR
6 HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR DOLLARS ($91,494.00),FOR VALLEY CLUB
7 REPAIRS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

9 WHEREAS, Bid 2595 was issued for the for Valley Club repairs, and Burkhalter Technologies, Inc.,
10 submitted the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting specifications of the one(1)bid received.
11 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
12 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARICANSAS:
13 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Burkhalter
14 Technologies, Inc., for the Valley Club repairs, in an amount not to exceed Ninety-One Thousand, Four
15 Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars($91,494.00),which is the base bid amount of Seventy-Six Thousand, Two
16 Hundred Forty-Five Dollars($76,245.00)plus a twenty percent(20%)contingency,if needed.
17 Section-2. Funding for this project is from the%Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
18 Use Tax Funds and the 2018 Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution 14803 (June 19,
19 2018)with funds available in Account Activity TS4B142.
20 Section 3.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
21 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
22 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
23 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer.All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
25 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
