Victory St. Little Rock, AR 72201 Planning Zoning and Subdivision RE: CANDLEWOOD APARTMENTS -- SUBDIVISION SITE PLAN REVIEW (S-548-I) Dear Joe: This is to confirm that the reference site plan has been placed on the April 25th. Planning Commission agenda; however, the site plan drawings which were submitted are not acceptable; they are not of a scale and with sufficient detail to permit review. The cycle from filing date to Planning Commission hearing is 5 weeks. The first 10 days is for processing the new filings and review by the various other City departments and utilities, at the end of which time is the "Interdepartmental Meeting". The next week is preparation for and holding the "Subdivision Committee" meeting. The following week is for revision of drawings following the Subdivision Committee meeting. The following week is for preparation of the staff report/agenda "write-up". The finished agenda packets are delivered to the Planning Commissioners the week before the meeting. Four days of the initial 10-day review period has already elapsed. Failure to get a usable site plan in to me by Friday, March 22nd. will force me to delete the review from the April 25th. agenda. There is simply no time to spare in the review process to wait any longer in the cycle. The Subdivision Committee meeting, at which this item will be discussed with you, is scheduled for Thursday, April 4th., at 1:00 P.M., that is, subject to an acceptable site plan being submitted by March 22nd. Recall that all property owners within 200 feet must be notified by certified mail, at least 15 days prior to the Planning Commission meeting. This action was taken in order that acquisition can be determined and that the roadway design issues can be resolved, in as much as there are potential design changes that will significantly alter the plan that has been reviewed. You should be aware that there will be a Subdivision Committee meeting on June 27, 1996. At this meeting any modifications in the plan or access roadway should have been reviewed by the staff in preparation for that Subdivision Committee meeting.
