CITY BEAUTIFUL
COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
The City Beautiful Commission held a planned meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25,
2024, at Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 West 12th Street. Due to
critical City communications issues the meeting was not virtually held online using the WebEx
format. A digital recording was made for the record. With Chairman Sanders-Woods being
absent, Vice-Chairman Stephens called the meeting to order.

It was announced that two (2) recipients had won but were not in attendance of the meeting.
New “blue” cards were requested by members.

Members asked of nominations.
Motion made to approve “metal” landscape signs.
T.R.E.E. Fund:
No Report
NEW BUSINESS:
Rodney Parham island planting of trees. A variety of trees and shrubs were suggested as
appropriate for the conditions due to width of islands.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The next Commission meeting will be August 22, 2024.
ADJOURNMENT:
A motion was entertained to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:39 pm.
