3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK. RESOLUTION NO.
4 16,316 (MAY 21, 2024) TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
5 ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH OLSSON, INC., IN AN AMOUNT
6 NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FOUR THOUSAND, EIGHT
7 HUNDRED DOLLARS ($104,800.00), TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING
8 CONSULTING SERVICES AT THE CITY'S CLASS 1 LANDFILL; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 16,316 (May 21, 2024), the Board of Directors
12 authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with FTN Associates, LTD, in an amount not to
13 exceed One Hundred Four Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($104,800.00), to provide Engineering
14 Consulting Services at the City of Little Rock's Landfill;and
15 WHEREAS,FTN Associates,LTD was acquired by Olsson,Inc.,on April 29,2024;and
16 WHEREAS, the City needs to enter into a formal contract with Olsson, Inc. to receive the
17 Engineering Consulting Services at the City of Little Rock's Landfill that were originally to be provided
18 by FTN Associates,LTD.
19 WHEREAS,the cost for the contract will be the same amount, not to exceed One Hundred Four
20 Thousand,Eight Hundred Dollars($104,800.00).
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
22 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Olsson, Inc., and the
24 amount is still not to exceed One Hundred Four Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($104,800.00), to
25 provide Engineering Consulting Services at the City of Little Rock's Landfill.
26 Section 2. Severability.In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be
27 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
28 Resolution,which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
29 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution.
30 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, including but not limited to Little Rock,Ark.,
31 Resolution No. 16,316 (May 21, 2024), and parts thereof,which are in conflict with any provision of this
32 ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
