GENERAL NOTES
0
1. Substitutions of size or plant types other than
those listed must be approved by the Landscape
Architect prior to inclusion in bidding or
installation of plant material.
2. Submit samples of all plants, turf and other
materials to the Landscape Architect for
approval, prior to installation.
3. Excavate entire shrub bed areas to a twelve
inch (12") minimum depth and backfill with
topsoil mixture, slightly mounded.
4. Provide a three inch (3") minimum layer depth
of mulch in all planting bed areas.
5. Enclose all planting bed and stone covered
areas with steel edging as specified in the
materials list.
6. The Landscape Contractor is responsible for
locating or having located all underground
conduit and utility services prior to
trenching or digging. The Landscape
Contractor will be responsible for repair
of any damages to underground services
caused by that company's personnel.
7. Plant material quantities listed are
estimate figures. In all cases, the intent
of coverage and/or number of plants shown in
the drawings shall supercede listed quantities.
8. Identification labels must be attached to all
plant materials and shall remain intact until
final inspection/acceptance of the work.
