HomeMy WebLinkAbout16389 RESOLUTION NO. 16,389 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-ONE 6 THOUSAND,ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($131,100.00), FOR THE KANIS 7 ROAD AT WOODLAND TRAIL TURN-LANE PROJECT; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for the Kanis Road at Woodlands Trail "I urn-Lane Project, Bid. No. 11 2543;and, 12 WHEREAS,Township Builders,Inc.,submitted the only bid meeting the specifications for the project; 13 and, 14 WHEREAS, the total cost of the project shall not exceed One Hundred Thirty-One Thousand, One 15 Hundred Dollars($131,100.00),which includes a 20%contingency. 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Township 19 Builders, Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty-One Thousand, One Hundred Dollars 20 ($131,100.00), which includes a 20% contingency, for the Kanis Road at Woodlands Trail Turn-Lane 21 Project. 22 Section 2. Funding for this project is allocated in the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax and the 23 Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds,as approved by Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution 24 No. 14,803 (June 19,2018),Account No.TS40C33. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution,which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
