My Name is Stan Walker and live at 1615 N Grant, directly across the street from the applicant. I strenuously object to having a short term motel on a quiet residential street. This
block consists of 6 single family homes and 2 rentals. The other rental is a typical long term rental. 2 doors down from this applicant, a half a million dollar home is almost completed
construction. The current owners are also currently using this property as a short term rental, The weekend of March 3rd, 4 cars arrived Saturday and left Sunday afternoon. This past
weekend, a single car was there all weekend. There's no incentive for weekend renters to be quiet or "good neighbors". The current owners have already shown they don't really care
about city regulations or their neighbors. So, please disallow this zoning variation. Thank you
