RESOLUTION NO. 12,365
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH HUGG & HALL EQUIPMENT
5 COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) ALL WHEEL /SKID
6 STEERING LOADER WITH OPTIONAL 40" PLANER; AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of one (1) All Wheel /Skid
10 Steering Loader with optional 40" planer, and
11 WHEREAS, this Skid Steering Loader will be a replacement for a motor grader,
12 and
13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the Skid
14 Steering Loader and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from Hugg
15 & Hall Equipment Company in the amount of Sixty -two Thousand, Ninety -nine
16 Dollars ($62,099.00);
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
20 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) All Wheel /Skid Steering Loader with optional
21 40" planer, for the amount of Sixty -two Thousand, Ninety -nine Dollars ($62,099.00).
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from 2006 Public Works
23 Short Term Financing Account.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
25 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
26 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
27 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

1 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
4 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
5 of such inconsistency.
