RESOLUTION NO. 12,364
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH AG -PRO CENTRAL FOR THE
5 PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 4WD TRACTOR WITH SIDE & REAR FLAIL
6 MOWER AND ONE (1) 4WD TRACTOR WITH OPTIONAL SPRAY &
7 8' ROTARY MOWER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of one (1) 4WD Tractor
10 with Side & Rear Flail Mower, and one (1) 4WD Tractor with Optional Spray & 8'
11 Rotary Mower, and
12 WHEREAS, these tractors with mowing equipment will replace older tractors
13 with high maintenance expenses, and
14 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the tractors
15 with mowing equipment and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received
16 from Ag -Pro Central in the amount of One Hundred Six Thousand, Nine Hundred
17 Forty and 96/100 Dollars ($106,940.96);
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
21 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) 4WD Tractor with Side & Rear Flail Mower,
22 and one (1) 4WD Tractor with Optional Spray & 8' Rotary Mower, for the amount of
23 One Hundred Six Thousand, Nine Hundred Forty and 96/100 Dollars ($106,940.96).
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from 2006 Public Works
25 Short Term Financing Account.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
27 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or

1 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
2 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
3 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
4 resolution.
5 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
6 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
7 of such inconsistency.
