Fran Billings, owner of the property, requests that the
Planning Commission discuss the replat of her property to
allow the sale of a part of it to her daughter. She also
requests that both lots be allowed frontage upon a private
street.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning staff recommends approval of Mrs. Fran
Billings' request subject to the submittal of a proper
survey.
SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE COMMENTS: (January 18, 1990)
The application was represented by Mr. and Mrs. Billings.
The staff recommendation was explained to the owners. Jerry
Gardner of Public Works suggested that access easement to
all lots should be granted. There were several questions
from Mr. and Mrs. Billings about easement grant procedure.
Jerry Gardner advised them to see a professional land
surveyor who can help them put all the information together.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
(January 30, 1990)
The application was represented. After a brief discussion,
the Commission determined it appropriate to place this item
on the consent agenda for approval. A motion to that effect
was made. The motion passed by a vote of 10 ayes, 0 noes
and 1 absent.
