Thank you for considering our request for conditional use for the property of 1804 East Capital Little
Rock, Arkansas. The church has been in existence for over 149 years. We are requesting that our facility
will be considered for childcare usage. While we plan to continue our religious institution and functions
therein, we would also like to allow Little Legacy Leadership Academy to provide childcare for 25-60
children from ages infant to school age. The staff of the Academy will meet the state mandate
requirements for staffing. The building has been inspected by the state fire department codes and has
passed all requirements.
By providing quality childcare to the community, Miles Memorial is certain that our services will exceed
the expectation of our clients, and the community in our area. There are two schools in our zone: E-
STEM and Carver Elementary School. The childcare services will extend to the parents and children
within that region. The directors of the daycare are licensed and will provide exceptional learning
opportunities for all who attend. By issuing a conditional use permit Miles Memorial partnered with
Little Legacy Leadership Academy will be able to provide a safe environment for infant through school
age children to excel.
Your consideration and approval in this matter would not only be greatly appreciated but it will allow us
to provide an economic impact to parents who would not be able to afford such services.
