Home My WebLink About16379 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,379 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRECISION VENTURES, LLC, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-ONE 6 THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($131,145.00), 7 FOR HVAC UPGRADES TO THE GREAT APES BUILDING AT THE 8 LITTLE ROCK ZOO; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Zoo has determined a need to make upgrades to the HVAC System at the 11 Great Apes Building; and, 12 WHEREAS, the City issued Bid No. 2490 for the Little Rock Zoo HVAC Upgrade Project, it was 13 determined that Precision Ventures, LLC, provided the lowest, most responsible bid out of the three (3) 14 bids received; and, 15 WHEREAS, the total cost of the project shall not exceed One Hundred Thirty-One Thousand, One 16 Hundred Forty-Five Dollars ($131,145.00),which includes a 5% contingency. 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Precision 20 Ventures,LLC, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty-One Thousand, One Hundred Forty-Five 21 Dollars ($131,145.00), which includes a five percent (5%) contingency, to upgrade the HVAC System at 22 the Great Apes Building at the Little Rock Zoo. 23 Section 2. Funds are allocated in the Zoo Operations Budget,Account No. 106570-061010. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and • 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 28 resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
