Home My WebLink About16368 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,368 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-NINE THOUSAND, EIGHT 6 HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR AND 80/100 DOLLARS($79,834.80),FOR THE 7 DRYAD LANE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the Dryad Lane Drainage Improvement Project, Bid. No. 2509; 11 and, 12 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., submitted the lowest, most responsible bid meeting 13 specifications of the three(3)bids received for the project; and, 14 WHEREAS, the total cost of the project shall not exceed Seventy-Nine Thousand, Eight Hundred 15 Thirty-Four and 80/100 Dollars($79,834.80),which includes a 20% contingency. 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Township 19 Builders,Inc., in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Nine Thousand,Eight Hundred Thirty-Four and 80/100 20 Dollars ($79,834.80), which includes a 20% contingency, for the Dryad Lane Drainage Improvement 21 Project. 22 Section 2. Funding for this project is allocated in the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital 23 Improvement Bonds as authorized by Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 15,968 (May 2, 2023), Account 24 No. B6D059D. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
