HomeMy WebLinkAbout16345 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,345 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH BALE CHEVROLET, IN AN AMOUNT NOT 5 TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS($101,000.00), 6 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO 7 (2) 2024 SILVERADO 2500 CREW CAB TRUCKS FOR THE LITTLE 8 ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Fire Department has demonstrated a need to purchase two (2) 2024 11 Silverado 2500 Crew Cab Trucks,to allow for the replacement of older units that have accrued high mileage 12 and maintenance costs; and, 13 WHEREAS, vendor selection for two (2) 2024 Silverado 2500 Crew Cab Trucks, meeting the 14 specifications needed,was made utilizing the HGAC Contract FS12-23;and, 15 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for two (2) 2024 Silverado 2500 Crew Cab Trucks shall not 16 exceed One Hundred One Thousand Dollars($101,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees. 17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Bale 20 Chevrolet, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred One Thousand Dollars($101,000.00),plus applicable 21 taxes and fees,for the purchase of two(2)2024 Silverado 2500 Crew Cab Trucks, for the Little Rock Fire 22 Department. 23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Fleet Replacement,Account No. 108609-S600637- 24 72300. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
