J. Wyrick on August 28, 2008. Please make sure that Director Wyrick gets a copy of this e- mail. I was there 2 or 3 years ago at the planning hearing when this property was being considered development for 8 lots into single family residential use. I opposed it then as well as now. The property around this property is all single family homes on I-aarQe lots and this would make this 2 acres like apartments to -put 8 homes on this 2 acres. My property is next door at 8415 Mabelvale Cut -Off Road and I have .9 of an acre with 2 lots with my home on one lot and nothing on the other lot. SBW Development, I believe owns this property and as you can see in my e-mail to Director B. J. Wyrick this property is not being kept up to code and I am having numerous problems with the city to get the property cut. I was only cut one time in 2007 and not any in 2008. If this is the way they will keep up the 8 homes on the 8 lots then it will be terrible and not done by city ordnances. We had 12 people there in opposition when this was presented last time and some of those people are elderly and may not be able to attend this meeting. Please members of the board consider rejecting the approval to re -new this permit for the 8 lots and single family residential use. L. W. I contacted you last year about the property at this location being kept up by being cut and cleaned up. Last year you contacted the City Manager and helped to get it cut one time during last summer. I have contacted the code inforcement this year at the alert center on Mann Road several (6) times since June of this year and the property has not been cut at all this summer. Some of it is 5' tall. I last week on Friday on August 22, 2008 at 8:30AM I contacted the City Manager's office and told them of the problem and now it is Thursday and still nothing has been done. They promised me they would get on it and get it done. It should not take all summer to have enforcement of the code to keep this property cut. I think I have been patient. I live next door at 8415 Mabelvale Cut -Off Road, Mabelvale, AR 72103 and my home phone is 565- 1323. If you could do anything to help get this property up to code and make sure that it is cut more than once a year I would very much appreciate your help. I just don't know who else or where to go to get this taken care of. Help me PLEASE! I don't think I should have to do this every summer to keep this property cut up to code.
