A. EXISTING CONDITIONS

This site is in a residential area composed of single
family homes. It is bordered on the north by Camelot
Drive and the west by Valley Drive by other single
family uses from the other boundaries.
DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL
This is a plan submitted by the applicant to make a
20' x 20' carport addition to the existing structure.
It will be an open carport with four support posts.
The roof will be 4 and 12 pitch with a gable at the
east end. The carport will extend 15' 6" past the 25'
building line.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS
None.
ANALYSIS
Staff is not supportive of this request. To add a
carport at this location would adversely affect
neighboring properties, since they all appear to be in
conformance with the setback requirement. Staff does
not wish to set a precedent.

Denial.

On the enclosed survey, (7001 Camelot Drive), on the East end of
the house, a carport has been penciled in extending out over the
concrete drive. This proposed structure would be 20' x 20' and
8' off the ,ground. It would be an open carport with 4 support
posts. The roof would be 4 and 12 pitch with a gable at the east
end. This carport would extend 15' 6" past the 25' building
line as noted on the survey, thus requiring clearance by the
