HomeMy WebLinkAbout16336 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,336. 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH POSITIVE RESULTS LAWN SERVICES, 5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHTY-ONE THOUSAND, 6 FIVE HUNDRED FORTY-SIX DOLLARS ($81,546.00), FOR THE 7 WESTON COURT DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the Weston Court Drainage Improvement Project, Bid No. 2460; 11 and, 12 WHEREAS, Positive Results Lawn Services, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid 13 meeting specifications of the two(2)bids received for the project; and, 14 WHEREAS,the total cost of the project shall not exceed Eighty-One Thousand, Five Hundred Forty- 15 Six Dollars($81,546.00),which includes a 20%contingency. 16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Positive 19 Results Lawn Services, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Eighty-One Thousand, Five Hundred Forty-Six 20 Dollars ($81,546.00), which includes a 20% contingency, for the Weston Court Drainage Improvement 21 Project. 22 Section 2. Funding for this project is allocated in the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital 23 Improvement Bonds as authorized by Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 15,9668 (May 2, 2023), Account 24 No. B5D045D. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution. which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
