3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH WER ARCHITECTS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($120,00.00), TO PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR
7 THE TERRY HOUSE, LOCATED AT 411 EAST 7T11 STREET; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock,Arkansas("City"),through the current procurement and selection
I I process selected WER Architects to provide Architectural Design Services for the inspection and evaluation
12 of the current condition of the Teriy House,by identifying potential repairs needed to bring the property up
13 to the standards required under the Arkansas Fire and Building Code;and,
14 WHEREAS, pursuant to this Request for Qualifications, the Selection Review Committee selected
15 WER Architects from the submitted proposals;and,
16 WHEREAS,the contract amount for the Architectural Design Services shall not exceed the amount of
17 One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars($120,000.00).
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with WER
21 Architects, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00), for
22 Architectural Design Services for the Teriy House, located at 411 East 7`'' Street.
23 Section 2. Funding for this contract is allocated in the Teny House Special Project, Account No.
24 108129-S10C374.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
