Home My WebLink About16330 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,330 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE 4 A CONTRACT WITH ARKANSAS ELEVATOR, LLC, IN AN AMOUNT 5 NOT TO EXCEED EIGHTY-NINE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED 6 TWENTY-NINE DOLLARS ($89,629.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES 7 AND FEES, FOR ELEVATOR MONDERIZATION AT FIRE STATION 8 NO. 2, LOCATED AT 524 EAST 9.111 STREET; AND FOR OTHER 9 PURPOSES. I0 11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Fire Department has identified the need to modernize the elevator at Fire 12 Station No. 2, located at 524 East 9th Street; and, 13 WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 15,783 (August 6, 2022) stated the intent to spend 14 American Rescue Plan Act Funds on Fire Facility Improvements; and, 15 WHEREAS, the City issued Bid 2457-0 and Arkansas Elevator, LLC, was the only qualified bid 16 received for the project; and, 17 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase shall not exceed Eighty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred 18 Twenty-Nine Dollars($89,629.00), plus taxes and fees. 19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The Board of Director authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Arkansas 22 Elevator, LLC, in an amount not to exceed Eighty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Nine Dollars 23 ($89,629.00), plus taxes and fees, for Elevator Modernization at Fire Station No. 2, located at 524 East 9Ih 24 Street. 25 Section 2. Funding for this purchase is allocated in the American Rescue Plan Act Funds, Account 26 No. 271519-G0601AR5 IC. 27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
