3 A RESOLUTION TO REIMBURSE THE LITTLE ROCK NATIONAL AIRPORT FOR
4 INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

6 WHEREAS, the City has obtained a grant from the Arkansas Department of Economic Develop-
7 ment for Dassault Falcon Jet, Inc. to construct the new Service Center and Storage building and for
8 utility and infrastructure improvements, and
9 WHEREAS, Dassault Falcon Jet, Inc. is an integral part of the City's economic climate and com-
10 munity and the City recognizes that the overwhelming majority of new jobs come from existing
11 business expansion, and
12 WHEREAS, the Arkansas Department of Economic Development provided $250,000 in grant
13 funds, and
14 WHEREAS, the City provided infrastructure grant funds in the amount of $50,000, and
15 WHEREAS, the Little Rock National Airport provided $250,000 in assistance for the Dassault Fal-
16 con Jet improvements, and
17 WHEREAS, the Little Rock National Airport is seeking reimbursement for the assistance in the
18 amount of $300,000.00 for the development of Dassault Falcon Jet, and
19 WHEREAS, Dassault Falcon jet's expansion would provide the creation of 200 new full -time jobs
20 over the next 24 months with a capital investment of $7 million.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
22 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is herby authorized to reimburse the Little Rock National Air -
24 port $ 50,000 for the construction of storm drainage facilities at the New Service Center at Dassault
25 Falcon Jet, Inc.
26 Section 2. Funding for the project is available from an Economic Infrastructure Fund grant,
27 fund account OF (700- 030 -X075) and $50,000 from Economic Development Airport Ramp Fund
28 (212- 030- ED01). Total project amount is $550,000 and the City share is $50,000.
29 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
30 Section 4. Severabi/ity. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
31 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
32 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall re-

main in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional
was not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 5. Repealer. All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this resolu-
tion are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
