Item No. 12 - Continued
D. Staff Analysis
No significant problems have been found. The applicant
has requested that the internal property lines be
considered as side yards. Since this is a double
frontage lot, this is acceptable.
E. Staff Recommendation
Approval, subject to comments made.
SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE REVIEW:
The applicant was present. The Committee decided to pass
this to the Commission without recommendation.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
The applicant and owner were present. There were no
objectors. The applicant requested that he be permitted to
expand Building #2 to the north thereby almost doubling the
floor space of that structure. He reported that all parking
and other Ordinance requirements would be complied with.
The Planning staff reported on the requested revisions by
stating that they observed no problem with the modification
if all Ordinance requirements are met. The Planning
Commission then voted to approve the plan as modified with
specific notation that no variances are implied in the
approval. The vote - 10 ayes, 0 noes, 1 abstention (Bill
Rector).
Note: Planning staff pointed out that three prints of the
revised plan will be required for staff signoff and
distribution prior to issuance of a building permit.
