3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH FENCE WORLD,INC.,IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED EIGHTY-ONE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED FIFTY
6 DOLLARS ($81,950.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR
7 THE INSTALLATION OF A SECURITY FENCE AROUND THE FUTURE
8 LITTLE ROCK MICRO HOME VILLAGE, TO BE LOCATED AT 3405
9 WEST ROOSEVELT ROAD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has been working to develop a Micro Home Village,
12 to be located at 3405 West Roosevelt Road,that will provide housing to unsheltered individuals and families
13 as they are transitioning into permanent housing; and,
14 WHEREAS,the Micro Home Village will need to be a safe location for the residents,and the fencing
15 will help secure the property; and,
16 WHEREAS, the City issued Bid 2442 for the installation of an eight (8)-foot chain link fence with
17 privacy slats and an entrance gate,and Fence World,Inc., was the most responsive and qualified bidder of
18 the five(5)bids received.
19 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for the installation of the fencing shall not exceed Eighty-One
20 Thousand,Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars($81,950.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Fence
24 World, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Eighty-One Thousand,Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($81,950.00),
25 plus applicable taxes and fees., for the installation of a security fence around the future Little Rock Micro
26 Home V i I lage,to be relocated at 3405 West Roosevelt Road.
27 Section 2. Funds for this purchase is allocated utilizing American Rescue Plan Act Funds, Account
28 No. 271359-G0216AR35A.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

I Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
