3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SAMSARA, INC.,IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FIFTEEN THOUSAND, SIX
6 HUNDRED SIXTY-NINE AND 60/100 DOLLARS ($215,669.60), FOR A
7 THREE(3)-YEAR HARDWARE LICENSES AGREEMENT FOR GPS AND
8 IN-CAR CAMERAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

I0 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department has identified the need to update hardware and licenses
11 GPS and In-Car Cameras; and,
12 WHEREAS,vendor selection, meeting the specifications needed, was made through the Sourcewell
13 Contract 020221-SAM;and,
14 WHEREAS, the total annual amount for Hardware and Licenses Agreement for GPS and In-Car
I5 Cameras, is not to exceed Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty-Nine and 60/100 Dollars
16 ($215,669.60),which includes a 25%contingency to allow for additional units and cameras.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into a three(3)-year agreement
20 with Samsara,Inc., in an annual amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand,Six Hundred Sixty-
21 Nine and 60/100 Dollars ($215,669.60), which includes a 25% contingency, for Hardware and Licenses
22 Agreement for GPS and In-Car Cameras.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Parts, Account No. 600013-63211.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
