3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PROPOSED SHUTTLE
4 ROUTES, MAP AND SCHEDULE FOR LITTLE ROCK TOURS
5 D /B /A LITTLE ROCK TOURS EXPRESS AS REQUIRED BY THE
6 LITTLE ROCK TRANSPORTATION CODE; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Little Rock Tours d/b /a Little Rock Tours Express has applied to
10 provide shuttle services to the citizens of Little Rock, and
11 WHEREAS, on July 26, 2006, an application review for said proposed shuttle
12 routes pursuant to the Little Rock Transportation Code was held at the Fleet Services
13 Department's J. E. Davis facility, and
14 WHEREAS, this review was attended by the applicant, Little Rock Tours d/b /a
15 Little Rock Tours Express, appropriate Fleet Services Department staff, and
16 representatives from Greater Little Rock Transportation and Little Rock Limousine, and
17 WHEREAS, the review determined Little Rock Tours d/b /a Little Rock Tours
18 Express met all basic criteria to operate a shuttle service, with the exception of Board
19 approval of the proposed shuttle routes.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
21 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
22 Section 1. The proposed shuttle routes for Little Rock Tours d/b /a Little Rock
23 Tours Express are hereby approved. An approved schedule of the shuttle routes is
24 attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A ". An approved map of said
25 shuttle routes is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "B ".
26 Section 2. The approved shuttle routes, map and schedule shall not be
27 substantially altered without prior Board approval. The Director of the Fleet Services

I Department may have some leeway, without prior Board approval, to reverse the
2 shuttle routes, schedule and map, or delete items from the shuttle routes, schedule and
3 map, upon request by Little Rock Tours d/b /a Little Rock Tours Express.
4 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or
5 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
6 affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and
7 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
8 originally a part of this resolution.
9 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which
10 are in conflict with any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
11 such conflict.
