Name: Lot 1, Garmill Addition Request For Reconsideration of Limitation
to One Curb Cut
Staff Recommendation:
Garmill Addition was originally approved with a restriction of curb
cuts on Kanis. Lot 1 was to have one curb cut and the other three
lots were to take access from a private drive. This was the Staff
recommendation at the time.
Therefore, the Staff recommends denial of the request for reconsideration
to permit two curb cuts on Lot 1.
Subdivision Committee Recommendation:
The Committee defers the question to the whole Commission.
COMMISSION ACTION
The Commission voted to deny the request as recommended by the
staff.
Mr. Garner abstained.
PRELIMINARY PLAT REVIEW
June 1, 1978
GARMILL ADD IT.IOIN LOT I
1. It is unclear as to the purpose of this replat; however, it
appears that the reason is to obtain a waiver for driveway
entrances onto Kanis Road from this lot. Please be advised
that the sketch as submitted is unacceptable. Please refer
to Ordinance #12,501 for proper driveway entrance
regulations by the City of Little Rock. (It is requested
that limited access be obtained to this property as per the
original preliminary plat; however, as our ordinance states
(which is extremely liberal), you are e titled to access by
two drives if submitted in proper form.
