3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 APPROPRIATE TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
5 ($250,000.00) FROM THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK'S AMERICAN
6 RESCUE PLAN ACT FUNDS TO THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS
7 TECHNOLOGY PARK AUTHORITY FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND
8 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO THE LITTLE ROCK TECHNOLOGY
9 PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

1 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3 of Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No.15,847 (December 20, 2022),
12 the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, indicated that it would allocate up to Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand
13 Dollars ($750,000.00) in American Rescue Plan Act Funds for infrastructure as economic development;
14 and,
IS WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Central Arkansas Technology Park Authority, which
16 operates as the Little Rock Technology Park, has requested a portion of the funding to further the process
17 of development of infrastructure at the Technology Park;and,
18 WHEREAS, there is a desire that the City appropriate Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
19 ($250,000.00) in funds so that the Central Arkansas Technology Park Authority can proceed with various
20 activities, including, but not limited to,further development of the Technology Park Facilities.
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to appropriate the sum of Two
24 Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($250,000.00)for the Little Rock Technology Park Phase Two Expansion.
25 Section 2. Funding is allocated in the American Rescue Plan Act Funds, Account No. 271129
26 G0601 AR 12A.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
