Installation of a ground mounted cast aluminum historical marker, approximately 42 inches by
30 inches atop a 7 inch post with 1 inch lettering. Uniform design selected by the Department
of Arkansas Parks, Heritage and Tourism. Marker commemorates Black soldiers in the Civil
War.
Installation of park bench adjacent to historical marker.

a) Placement of marker and bench along the perimeter of the U.S. Arsenal site historic parade
grounds.
b) Bench will be identical in design to existing benches in the park.
