1, Robert W. Terrell III, am hereby requesting for a variance from the established fence height regulation
that is currently instated. My property lies at the bottom of a hill as you are driving down Cherry Laurel
drive. Due to this significant slope there is a direct line of sight down into where my children play, and I
fear this is a security risk. As a member of the United States Army one of my greatest fears is the safety
of my children and family while I am serving. It is well known that the enemies of this great nation have
no respect for human life and will inflict damage anyway they can to hurt our efforts. My proposal is to
raise the highlighted area of back border fence to 8 feet in height and provide an additional layer of
security to my family.

Subject: zoning variance for 1 Cherry Leaf Cove
Dear Mr. Moore,
I wish to make known my opposition to the granting of a variance for the above mentioned address. This
variance, as I understand it, would allow a six foot tall fence (or higher?) to be built on the property which will
obstruct the line of sight along Cherry Laurel Drive, which is a main road through Cherry Creek. The fence will
extend into the side yard of the house, along Cherry Laurel Drive and come much closer to the sidewalk than
any fence in our subdivision.
The size of the fence is completely out of character with the rest of the neighborhood and could result in a
lowering of property values for homes within sight distance of said fence.
I appreciate the board considering my wishes and hope that the variance will not be granted.

I am opposed to the Zoning Variance requested by 1 Cherry Leaf Cove. Placing a 6 ft fence privacy fence so
close to the sidewalk and along side the house will destroy the beautiful sightlines that we currently have down
Cherry Laurel Drive. I understand the homeowner's interest in expanding their backyard but they should have
been aware of the zoning issues when they purchased the property last year. My understanding is that the
current zoning allows them to put in a 4 ft fence without a zoning variance. While I would not like to see a solid
4 ft fence, I could support a 4 ft staggered picket fence.

I live in the Cherry Creek neighborhood off of Bowman Rd and I understand the neighbor at 1 Cherry Creek Cove (corner
of Cherry Creek Cove & Cherry Laurel) has applied for a variance for a fence
I am against this variance because it does not fit into the current fence lines for all other properties in the neighborhood
If the property owner wanted a larger backyard then they should have considered that when buying the property
Please do not approve this variance
