HomeMy WebLinkAbout16291 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,291 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A FINAL CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH PROFESSIONAL 5 ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, LLC, FOR A PARKING MANAGEMENT 6 SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR 7 OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS,in Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 14,757(April 3,2018),the City of Little Rock Board 10 of Directors authorized the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Professional Account 11 Management, LLC,for the City's Parking Citation Management System; and, 12 WHEREAS, Professional Account Management, LLC, a Duncan Solutions Company, submitted the 13 lowest responsive and responsible bid(Bid No. 17123), meeting the City's specifications;and, 14 WHEREAS,the City entered into an agreement with Professional Account Management, LLC, for a 15 term of three (3) years with an option of four (4) additional one (1)-year terms to provide parking 16 enforcement and technology; and, 17 WHEREAS, Professional Account Management, LLC, receives 10% of Parking Fine Revenues 18 received within thirty (30) days and 25% of Parking Fine Revenues received after thirty (30) days from 19 ticket issuance, plus reimbursement of actual postage expense; and, 20 WHEREAS, the original term of the contract provided for a three (3)-year contract term with the 21 possibility of four(4),one(1)-year extensions by mutual agreement; 22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 24 Section 1.The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into a final contract term with 25 Professional Account Management, LLC,for an Integrated Parking Management System in return for 10% 26 of collected Parking Fine Revenues received with thirty (30) days of ticket issuance and 25% of Parking 27 Fine Revenues received after thirty (30) days of ticket issuance, plus reimbursement of actual postage 28 expended during the fourth and final contract year. 29 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and 32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 33 resolution.
