3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO THE GRIFFIN GROUP, LLC, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($220,000.00), FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF CONCRETE MEDIANS
7 AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY MOWING LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF
8 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,maintenance of concrete medians and right-of-way mowing is needed within the City of
11 Little Rock, Arkansas, to maintain public rights-of-way along City streets located within all seven (7)
12 City Wards;and,
13 WHEREAS, Bid No. 2406 was issued for the 2024 Concrete Median Maintenance, and The Griffin
14 Group, LLC,was the only bid submitted; and,
15 WHEREAS, the total amount is not two exceed Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
16 ($220,000.00),which includes a 10%contingency.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
18 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with The
20 Griffin Group LLC, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty Thousand ($220,000.00), which
21 includes a 10% contingency, for the maintenance of concrete medians and rights-of-way mowing along
22 City streets located within all seven(7)City Wards.
23 Section 2. Funding for this contract is available in 2024 Concrete Median Maintenance, Account No.
24 205409-S40B671.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer.All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
