3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A THREE (3)-YEAR CONTRACT WITH CINTAS CORPORATION, IN
5 THE ANNUAL AMOUNT OF SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS (560,000.00),
6 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
7 UNIFORMS AND SUPPLIES FOR THE FLEET SERVICES
8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Fleet Services Department is in need uniforms and supplies for its employees; and,
11 WHEREAS,vendor selection for Uniforms and Supplies,meeting the specifications needed,was made
12 through Omnia Partners, Contract No. 001299; and,
13 WHEREAS,staff recommends that a contract be awarded to Cintas Corporation, in an annual amount
14 not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees, for the purchase of
15 uniforms and supplies for the Fleet Services Department.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into a three (3)-year contract
19 with Cintas Corporation, in an annual amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00), for the
20 purchase of uniforms and supplies for the Fleet Services Department.
21 Section 2. Funding for this purchase is available from various Fleet Account Nos. 600031-60030,
22 600036-60030, 600011-60030 and 601001-60030.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
