HomeMy WebLinkAbout16286 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,286 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH KARL MALONE FORD, IN AN AMOUNT 5 NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED NINETY-NINE THOUSAND, SIX 6 HUNDRED DOLLARS ($199,600.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND 7 FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) FORD F-150 LIGHTNING 8 CREW CAB EV PICK-UP TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS AND 9 FLEET DEPARTMENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,the Public Works& Fleet Services Departments have demonstrated a need to purchase 12 four(4) Ford F-150 Lightning Crew Cab EV Trucks to replace aged, high maintenance units currently in 13 the City's fleet; and, 14 WHEREAS, vendor selection for four(4) Ford F-150 Lightning Crew Cab EV Trucks, meeting the 15 specifications needed,was made through the Sourcewell Contract No. 091521-NAF; and, 16 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for four(4) Ford F-150 Lightning Crew Cab EV Trucks shall 17 not exceed One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand,Six Hundred Dollars($199,600.00),plus applicable taxes 18 and fees. 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The Board of Directors authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Karl 22 Malone Ford,for the purchase of four(4)Ford F-150 Lightning Crew Cab EV Trucks, in an amount not to 23 exceed One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand,Six Hundred Dollars($199,600.00),plus applicable taxes and 24 fees,to be used by the Public Works& Fleet Services Departments. 25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works Operations,Account No.205409- 26 72300-S40B660, in the amount of One Hundred Three Thousand, Four Hundred Thirty-Six Dollars 27 ($103,436.00), and the Fleet Replacement Funds, Account No. 108609-72300-S60C471, in the amount of 28 Ninety-Six Thousand,One Hundred Sixty-Four Dollars($96,164.00). 29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and 32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 33 resolution.
