(Please refer to Site Plan for details). U-Haul is the leading name in the "do-it-yourself" storage and moving industry. For more than 70 years U-Haul has incorporated sustainable practices into its everyday operations. We remain focused on our commitment to sustainability through our products, services, and design philosophy which has helped reduce our impact on the environment. We select infill sites in high growth areas in an effort to maintain a continuous community fabric and provide services in response to the needs of that community. This U-Haul facility will feature the following service: • U-Haul climate controlled self -storage facility used to store furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, or holiday decorations. Many times this is prompted by moving to a smaller home, combining households, or clearing away clutter to prepare a home for sale. The majority of our storage customers will typically rent a room for a period of 2 months to one year. All U-Haul storage customers are issued a card -swipe identification card and/or a personalized authorization code to gain access to their storage locker. Storage lockers are individually armed with customer provided locks; electronically controlled access areas are provided for after hours business. To protect the customer's belongings and decrease the ability of unauthorized access, our storage facilities are protected by video surveillance cameras and DVR equipment (monitored 24 hours a day). Customers are provided call stations (MAX Stations) with directories, and 24-hour entrances are secured with monitors and staged entry doors. It is against U-Haul policy for a business to be operated from a U-Haul storage locker and customers must adhere to strict requirements against storing chemicals, flammables, and paints; all U-Haul storage centers are non- smoking facilities. U-Haul provides added service and assistance to our customers with disabilities. Custom site design for every U-Haul storage facility assures the facility compliments the community it serves. With that in mind, our goal is to coexist with our surrounding area, create stability in business and have positive impacts on the community. All of these goals will be accomplished with the approval of Conditional Use Permit for Mini warehouse use.
